This original production was commissioned by Honolulu Theatre For Youth (HTY) and The Hawaii State Department of Health, Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division.  The show is part of an initiative to promote healthy habits for very young children and families in Hawaiʻi and fulfilled a CDC grant  for Health Equity. The production toured from August to December to pre-schools, elementary schools, and libraries statewide culminating in run at HTYʻs home theatre.  In addition to the stage play,  a 30-min television episode was created for HTYʻs television series, THE HI WAY which continues to air on local CBS and NBC affiliates with the goal of providing access to as many families in Hawaiʻi as possible.
